After a lengthy discussion with Flight Ops, it was determined that even though it is not in the 900 MEL/CDL, the CRJ900 requires two wings to legally dispatch and fly. If there is a wing missing, do not take off before talking to your dispatcher and Maintenance Control before departing. There may be performance issues operating with one wing. This is a Safety auditor's lame attempt at humor so please don't take this seriously.
